Pool Saturday for 10
Ten people by the water: a rum punch you can batch, Painkillers in mugs, outdoor light, and glassware you will not chase into the pool.

Who it’s for
- About 10 guests
- Patio, deck, or pool edge with a table in the shade
- Time to ready: Two hours including juice and a punch pitcher
Batch the juice, pour the rum
A 10-person Saturday is not ten Mai Tais. Rum punch (dark rum, pineapple, orange, lime, grenadine, bitters) scales cleanly. Painkillers are richer; mix the coconut side in a pitcher and dose rum in the mug so the last pour is not all cream.
Ceramic mugs survive a deck. Libbey tiki rocks glasses are the dishwasher backup when mugs are in the sink. Leave a punch bowl for a holiday table unless you enjoy carrying a full bowl across wet flagstone.
